Color and Sound: Revelations of a Landscape

A landscape is more than a place: it is a relationship.
Between the observer and the space observed.
Between the different elements that shape a site.
It is a fabric of dialogues, interactions, bonds, and correspondences.
Elements that coexist and complement one another.

This project emerges from a subjective exploration of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and proposes an installation that places colour and sound at the centre of perception. A research process that uncovers the territory’s most characteristic and singular tones and timbres.

Spaces are in constant transformation—shaped both by natural cycles and human intervention—and this movement gives rise to a landscape that is never the same, perceived here through two specific gazes and in fleeting moments.

Thus unfolds a mosaic-landscape, where the tesserae are small fragments of a much larger entity, and where colour and sound act as revealers: they bring forth what hides in details, lights, nuances, and murmurs.

We present a combination of the colours and sounds that inhabit the territory: a symbiotic landscape in which both elements seek each other, join hands, and recompose themselves.
